minimum 30 minutes working
out to involve the heart is
crucial to any health and
fitness program.
Walking on a treadmill and gliding on
elliptical trainer is one of the best ways to
get in shape, whether you have weight
problems or simply want to keep your body
and mind healthy. Methode: Fitness has
combined this simple aerobic workout for
an effective way to stimulate fat burning
and keep your muscles healthy and fit.
Our program involves 15 minutes on each
machine for a combined total of 30 minutes
of cardio. It is essential for you to maintain
your aerobic heart-rate so your stride and
speed are important. Most experts agree
65-85 percent of your total heart rate minus
your age is the effective range. (220 – your
age = total x 65% = your effective range
for basic aerobic fitness.) You will see an
increase in your fitness level, energy level,
and weight loss.
The more intense your stride, speed and the
longer you engage in each session, the
stronger your heart will become. Other muscles in your body will
be strengthened and
help your body burn more fat. Also, engaging in your program 3-4
times per week, you
will burn more calories. And, you have to burn extra calories
(more than you consume)
to lose the fat. Done consistently, it can help build a leaner
body. Walking is an aerobic
and weight-bearing exercise, so it is good for your heart and
helps prevent osteoporosis
while building strong bones.
All equipment at Methode: Fitness offers a weight bearing
workout that puts minimal
stress on the joints. You will be able to focus on muscle groups
or isolate your quadriceps,
hamstring, gluteus, chest, back, triceps or biceps. Weight
bearing programs help prevent
bone density loss.
